She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Ellison Turner and Fairchild "Bud" McGee; her son Wilfred Ellison; and her daughter-in-law Mary Ellison. She is survived by: her children, Jasper Ellison, Shirley Young, Etheline Scott, Iris Scott and Jovis F. Scott; her daughter-in-law Erika Ellison; her grandchildren, Sandra Turner (Fred), Shonda Scott, Cedrick Parks, Rodrez Dothard, Derrick Scott, Neshasta Taylor (Jared), Amber Harris (Keon) and Immanuel Ellison; her godchildren, Gail Parker, Joan Harvey, Cassandra Thrasher (Gilbert) and Maurice Ogletree; her siblings, Leon McGee, Willie McGee, Dr. Shirley McGee Fannings and Jennie McGee Milliner; and her sisters-in-law, Glendale McGee and Juanita McGee. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
