She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Swanson and Lucile Harris Waugh; her stepfather Billy Waugh; and her brother Marvin Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Eugene McConnell; her daughters, Angela Christy Tucker (Henry "Hank") and Jennifer Nicole Pearson (Chris); her siblings, Mike Swanson (Phyllis), Gayla Sebaugh, Ricky Knight (Jesse), Susan McDaniel (Mike) and Jessie Knight (Angie); her grandchildren, Dylan Patrick Tucker, Landon Gabriel Tucker, Dallas Hayden Pearson, Tinley Madison Tucker, Colton Bruce Pearson and Whitley Nicole Pearson; and her nieces and nephews, Barbara Hogan (Jason), Casey Swanson and Walter Swanson (Ashlyn). She is also survived by loving wife to her husband for over 51 years, a loving mother to her two daughters.
Flowers will be accepted, or for those who wish, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to New Hope Baptist Church of LaGrange or WellStar West Georgia Hospice.
