She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Dowell and Ruth Flowers. She is survived by : her sisters, Yvonne Satterwhite Pittman (Jerome) and Barbara Gail Dowell; her aunt Julia Ann Reeves (Eddie); her nieces and nephews, Bikel Frenelle, Brandon Pittman, Ebony Dowell, Dernard Dowell and Braden Pittman; and her friends, Nita Avery, Janice Davidson and Joanne Riley.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241).
