He is survived by: his wife Pauline "Polly" McLeod Mattox; his children, Kendrick Ware Mattox III (Lacy) and Helen Mattox Bost (William); his grandchildren, Maggie, Goodwyn, Sarah Mattox, Heyward and Anne Bost; his sister Janey Sterchi (John); and his sister-in-law Deeonn Neil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
