She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thomas Sayers and Geneva Holder Sayers; her husband William "Billy" Woodruff Young; and her siblings, Olin Sayers, Pauline R. Cook, Edna Lester, Elaine Breed, June Walker, William Sayers and Charles Sayers.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Alice Young of Atlanta; her nieces and nephews, Oliver Reason (Annette) of Cordelle, Georgia, Janice Milam, Paul Walker (Annette) of LaGrange, Robert Breed (Susan) of Enterprise, Phyllis Bruce of LaGrange, Nancy Purdy of Augusta and Jon Young (Nancy) of Massachusetts; and her close friends, Lilla Truitt of LaGrange and Beverly Landis of Atlanta.
