She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Wright (Patricia) and Davious "Luke" Huguley; her stepchildren, Tina Huzzie, Floyd Green and Felton Harris; her siblings, O. D. Wright Jr. of Roanoke, AL, Willie Jean Phillips of Roanoke, AL, Nancy Higgins (Jimmy) of LaFayette, AL and Eyvonne Carwell (William) of Lanett, AL.; her sister-in-law Virginia Wright of LaFayette, AL.; her grandchildren, LaSha Dunn (Charles) of LaFayette, AL, Angela Abner (Curtis) of LaFayette, AL, LaRhonda Brown (Tyrone) of Wadley, AL, Shannon Allen (Diore) of Phenix City, AL. and Gregory "Tater Bug" Spence (Donna) of Notasulga, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Rodriguez Spence, Kenya Spence, Canshavia Zachary, LaKeisha Zachery, Deangelo Abner, Diamond Abner, Jameria Camper (Lee), Jayden Allen, Beaunka Staples, Keshuna Brown and Randy Brown.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Vines Funeral Home (211 B St SW, La Fayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (501 B St, La Fayette, AL 36862). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
