It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Ogletree Jr. (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Leslie. He is survived by: his daughters, Ivella Ogletree and Gayla Denise Scott of LaGrange, GA; his grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson of Aurora, IL, Clarissa "Lisa" Hanner of LaGrange, GA, Catherine Proctor of Savannah, GA and Brandon Hanner (Tyesha) of LaGrange, GA; his close friend Mollie Leverette of Whitesville, GA; his granddaughters, Briana and Shamia; his godchildren, Gerald Jarrett, Bridgett Jarrett and Thyesia Jarrett of Pine Mountain, GA; Bernice. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
