Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marie Cotney of LaGrange, Georgia, born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 66, on December 24, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Ashley and Elsie Mae Adams Houston; her siblings, Deretha Foxworthy, Major Ashley and Kenneth Ashley; and her stepfather Guy Houston.

She is survived by: her daughter Carla Rushing; her granddaughter Lucy Marie Hart; and her sister Shirley Cline. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
