She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey King and Allie Mae King; her husband Oscar Thomas Wilson (Tom); her brothers, Robert L. King, Alfred King, James Edward King and Billy Frank Tankersley; and the fathers of children, Eddie and Terry.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Tankersley (Sherry), Terry Norman Tankersley (Martha) and Chris Wilson; and her brother Richard S. King (Judy). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; and her 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30240). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241).
Flowers are accepted; alternatively, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
