We bid farewell to Mary Ann Phillips of LaGrange, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2026 at the age of 91. Mary Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hovie Lee Baker and Annie Lizzie Murphy; her husband David L. Phillips; and her daughter Teresa Shelnutt. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Shelnutt (Debbie) and Kevin Shelnutt (Cassie); her stepchildren, Steven Phillips, Deborah McIntyre, Connie Holtzworth and Patti Fowler; her grandchildren, Josh Shelnutt (Brooke), Justin Shelnutt (Danielle), Jackson Shelnutt (Erin), Cody Ivey, Deana Wisener (Jeremy), Caleb Shelnutt (Caiti) and Stephen Shelnutt; and her stepgranddaughter Angie Phillips (Thomas). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donation are requested to be made to East LaGrange Baptist Church in her honor.
