With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Whatley of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Cole and Corene Robertson Cole; her former husband C. L. Cook, Jr.; her husband Wilbur Whatley; and her siblings, Mattie Lou Lewis, Talmedge Cole, Donald Cole, William Kermit Cole, Fred Cole and Douglas Cole.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lee Ann Patton (Bobby), Joni Nicole Johnson (Bryan) and Kimberly Crockett (late Mike Crockett); her sister Dorothy Sheppard; her grandchildren, Hunter Patton (Veronica), Hope Patton, Hayden Patton (Abby), Lauren Engelke (Nathan) and Daniel Crockett (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, Emma Sloan Engelke and Michael Hunter Patton Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
