With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Simons of LaGrange, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 50. She was predeceased by: her father James "Buster" Robinson. She is survived by: her mother Linda Carpenter-Kitchens; her husband Wiley Simons; her stepfather Lamar Kitchens; her children, DJ Simons (Izzy), Bob Simons (Brianna) and Linda Marie Knight; her grandchildren, Hayden Arrington, Braylee Simons, Addison Knight, Kholmun Allen-Simons, Adelynn Knight, Payton Simons, Maycee Simons and Paisley Knight; her nieces and nephews, Mistie Thompson, Jordan, Troy Folds and Virginia Stokley; her sisters, Gail Booker, Betty Spradlin and Jamie Robinson Folds; and her close friends, Lakisha Ann and Ramona.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (3637 Robert Hayes Rd, Hogansville, GA 30230). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
