She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jasper Caldwell and Catherine Ophelia Horne; her husband James Donald Shelnutt; her son-in-law James Cash; and her sisters, Inez Hallman, Ruth Bennett, Louise Ogletree, Minnie Pearl Caldwell, Irene Clark and Maudie Irwin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Burgess and Gail Cash; her grandchildren, Daniel Shelnutt, Gary Cash (Dee), Nikki Connor (Tyler), Ashley Tate (Allen), Austin Cash (Rachel), Gavin Moncus and Charley Ann Moncus; her nieces, Elizabeth, Brenda and Catherine Clark; her nephew Phillip Crowe; and her friends, Marlon Gilbert and Michael Johnson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the City Light Church (501 4th Ave, LaGrange, GA 30240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241).
