He is survived by: his wife Janie Burke; his daughter Heather Barajas (Alex); his stepchildren, Joe Garvey, Jack and Jimmi Arnott; his grandchildren, Riley, Daisy, Samuel, Skye, Adrian, Leah Rose, Leo, Lucas and Ezekiel; his brother Mark Burke; and his nieces and nephews, Carmen, Lee, Daphne, Valorie, Livvi, Matthew, Emily and Jodi. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and countless friends.
In keeping with Mike's wishes, memorial donations may be made, if desired. If a donation box is available at the service, Mike requested that contributions be divided equally between kidney cancer research and Wellstar Hospice in appreciation of the compassionate care they provided.
