He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Benjamin Smith and Ella Olene Robinson Smith; and his siblings, Betty Spradlin, Frances Eason, Albert Smith and Mallory Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jutta Smith of LaGrange; his daughter Joyce Smith Hosmer of Macon; and his stepdaughters, Susan Barrett (Stephen) of Snellville and Tina Gaddy of LaGrange. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
