She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Doss and Mildred Doss. She is survived by: her husband Jim DeVane; her son Jay (Kendra DeVane); her grandchildren, Jack, Miller, Emory and Tuckie; her son David (Amber DeVane); her grandchildren, Alex, Millie and Maggie; her son Patrick; her daughter-in-law Sara DeVane; and her grandchildren, Piper and Andy. She is also survived by Her kids, grandkids, and 'adopted family'.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptisit Church. A memorial service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (208 Fannin St, LaGrange, GA 30241).
