She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Heard, Jr. and Doris McGhee Heard; her grandparents, Walter, Louise Heard, Sr., Johnny and Mary Liza McGhee; her granddaughter Malaysia Brown; her godson Brian Patterson; and her brother-in-law Dr. S. E. Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Shirelle Brown of LaGrange, GA, Donshay Brown of LaGrange, GA, Nosha Harris of LaGrange, GA, Jeremy Brown of LaGrange, GA, Courtney Brown and West; her grandchildren, Azia Meriweather, Monquavious Cofield, Nakiyah Meriweather, A'Kyrua Pla, Jadarious Brown, Mariah Alford, Jadasia Brown, Dakota Brown, Damoni Brown, Malani Brown, Bryson Brown, Caden Davidson, Kaleb Cofield, Makiyah Owens, Jah'Nari Brown, Jah'Mir Brown, Ava Brown, Bryce Brown and Anarie Smith; her great grandchild Kyhsian Meriwether; her godsons, Antonio Patterson (Brenyerna) and Jeremiah Patterson (Natasha); her siblings, Janice Alexander, Sherry Heard, Cynthia Heard, Charles Heard, Donnell Huzzie (Sandra), Walter Heard (Mary), Walter Ricks and Ronnie Herad; and her close friends, Melissa Pittman, Sylvia Stephens and Chanta Godfrey. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wards Chapel C. M. E. Church (140 North St, LaGrange, GA 30240).
