He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lewis Smith Sr.; and his son Samuel Caleb Smith. He is survived by: his mother June Duke Smith; his wife Amy Longshore Smith; his sons, Stephen Smith (Shelly) and Michael Joseph Smith (Candi); his brothers, Michael "Tony" Smith and Mark Smith (Joni); and his grandchildren, Isaac Smith, Ben Smith (Amber), Hunter Smith, Nick Smith, Robert "Kyle" Smith, Melody Smith, Bailey Smith, Elijah Smith and Jaxon Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends.
