It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Sledge Simpson of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pierce Sledge and Eunice Alene Peppers Sledge; her husband John T. Simpson; her siblings, Avery Pierce Sledge, Martin Colin Sledge, Juanita Kenney, Frances Evans and Emily Dolores Sledge; and her grandson SGT Corey Spates.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Harrison (Betta), Scott Estes (Michelle) and Joy Thomas (Steve); and her siblings, Henry Clinton Sledge, Rev. Lanny Milford Sledge and Carol Ann Klehn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
