He was predeceased by: his father Wyvis Knopp; and his brother-in-law Zachry Mattox. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Diane Lancaster Knopp; his sons, Matthew Knopp, Gregory Hewitt, Sr. (Angie) and Toby Hewitt; his sisters, Billie Smallwood (David), Deeon Mattox and Lynn Moncus (Ricky); his grandchildren, Shandi Duffey (Randall), Gregory Hewett and Chase Hewett; and his pets, Sugar and Scooter. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
