She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thrasher and Ruth Sheffield Thrasher; and her husband Lester Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Rick Simmons (Tonya), Tim Simmons (Annette) and Traci Johnson; her sister Kathy Tidwell (David); her grandchildren, Chase (Aoi), Brett (Courtney), Jillian, Leigh (Justin), Nick (Chelsea), Ashleigh, Ricky, Michael, Andrew, Lauren and Dawson; and her great grandchild Eleanora (Alivia).
