He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Mae Pike Whatley. He is survived by: his father Wendell Whatley; his children, Heather Palmore and Jeremy Whatley; his siblings, Sherri Messer (Jimmy), Bubba Whatley, Gary Whatley and Josh Whatley; and his grandsons, Hunter Cummings, Tristan Cummings and Terrance Palmore.
