She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cornelius Anderson and Martha Anderson Martin (Smith); and her husband James Ray Hancock. She is survived by: her siblings, Delane Anderson Knight, Teresa Anderson Bain and Kelly Anderson; and her stepsister Jan Lockerbie (Brian Lockerbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Chapel (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Her generosity extended beyond her home, as she created baby blankets, hats, scarves, and prayer shawls to donate to others in need.
