With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Funk Stewart (LaGrange, Georgia), born in Pasadena, California, who passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Susan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Susan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Stewart Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Kim) and John III; her grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Tyler and Kylie; and her brother Rev. Steve Funk. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Susan's memory to the American Heart Association, Covenant OPC Church (P.O. Box 667, LaGrange, GA 30241), Hills & Dales Estate (1916 Hills & Dales Dr., LaGrange, GA 30240), or Explorers (PO box 425, Dickson, TN 37056-0425).
