With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Freeman Mills (LaGrange, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thomas left this world on October 28, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hobson and Ethel Owensby Mills; and his siblings, Robert Lane Mills, Julia Hope Mills Johnson and Sally Mills Morelock.

He is survived by: his wife Carlene Benefield; his daughter Jane Anne; his son-in-law Rob Ridings; his grandsons, Robert Mills Ridings, Andrew Freeman Ridings and William Davis Ridings; and his siblings-in-law, Sonji and Phil Williamson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley Methodist Church (2382 W Point Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Wesley Methodist Church.
