With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Neal Barnes of LaGrange, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Barnes and Catherine Pate Barnes; and his sister Shirley Harrington. He is survived by: his wife Amy Forkey Barnes; his children, Nathan Barnes (Amanda Wustrack) and Sarah Hand (Josh); his brothers, Ronnie Barnes (Becky) and Donnie Barnes (Sherry); and his granddaughters, Lily Barnes and Veronica Hand. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home (506 Hill St, LaGrange, GA 30240). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
