She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Yank" Hunter and Ruby Kate Hunter; her husband Gilbert Miles; her siblings, Sandra Hammett and Douglas Hunter; and her brother-in-law David Hammett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delphine Tucker (Jeffery), Shelsea Hammett and Patsey Pinkard (Tommy); her granddaughters, Taglacious and Tanaya Tucker; her great grandchildren, Armani Tucker and Khaiza Armstrong; her sister-in-law Gail Hunter; her cousin Patricia Hunter; and her friend Willie Hammett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, beloved cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes Dunson Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Burks Chapel United Methodist Church (855 Burkes Chapel Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the same location.
