With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Elizabeth Harrison Bonner (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Notley Harrison and Lexa Carter Harrison; her significant other Phillip Bonner, Sr.; her children, James Bonner of Hogansville, Brenda Mavity (James), Phyllis Tarr of LaGrange, Michael Bonner (Vicki Bonner) of Chickamauga, GA and Lisa Tunstall (John Tunstall, Jr) of Nashville, TN.; her grandchildren, Angela Richards of Chattanooga, TN, Cyndi Thurman (John Thurman) of Trenton, GA, Jon Tarr of Auburn, AL, Tammy Riddell (Troy Riddell) of Fort St John, British Columbia, Sherry Cobb (Paul Clayton), Hope Wilson (Anthony Wilson) of Chickamauga, GA, Leigh Webb (Steven Webb) of LaGrange, Jennifer Sartor (Vince Sartor) of Nanaimo and Phillip Daniel Bonner of Memphis, TN; Laurell Millirons (Chuck Millirons) of Dallas, TX, Alyssa Reussow of Dallas, TX and Steve Cottle (Vicki) of LaGrange. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with social distancing and masking for those in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorials to be sent to LaGrange College, Advancement Services, 601 Broad, LaGrange GA 30240 to the Phillip & Virginia Bonner Endowed Scholarship Fund.
