He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Elaine Adkins; and his daughter April Elaine Adkins. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony and Courtney Elder; his great grandchildren, Addison, Charley and Amelia; and his stepchildren, Jody and Deedee Elder. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Covenant Word of Faith Ministries (3028 W Point Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).
