He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kelly Davenport and Fannie Ruth Sturdivant; his wife Janice; and his sisters, Katie Miller and Geraldine Davenport.
He is survived by: his children, Kellee Davenport and Amberia Davenport; his grandchildren, Karvez Willis, Kayla Davenport and Karson Davenport; his son-in-law Christopher Brooks; his siblings, Willie "Pete" Davenport and Cora Mae McClain; his siblings-in-law, Bettie Dowell (Rena) and Milton Redding, Jr.; his niece Shuwanda Robinson (Bruce); and his close friends, Charles Heard, Paul Allen, Marcus Rosser, Earlie Anderson, Big Al Hutchinson, Alvin Andrew Willie and Authur Hutchinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
