It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Laye (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Laye, Sr.; and his brothers, Charlie, Garnett, Wilbert and Douglas, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Martha Laye; his children, William Terrance Laye of LaGrange, GA, Konstanza Laye of Atlanta, GA, Vatrina Kemp (James) of Atlanta, GA and Karen Rowland (Dexter) of LaGrange, GA; and his sisters, Mary Frances Glenn of LaGrange, GA and Margaret Patterson of LaGrange, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
