She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Frank Shears and Mary Emma Williamson; and her brothers, James Shears and Grady Lee Shears (Larry). She is survived by: her husband Tony Baker; her children, Janice Golden, Roy Baker (Bubba), David Baker, Andri Baker (Stud), Audrey Grant (Lulu), Katrina Calmeise (Bea), Constance Patterson (Connie) and Alicia Reed (Joyce); and her children-in-law, Deborah Baker, Vecky Jones and Henry Reed. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and a host of additional family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - LaGrange Chapel (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
