He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Augustus Rigby and Maxine Snabely Rigby; and his wife Barbara Jane Rigby. He is survived by: his children, Richard Rigby of Lake Park, GA, Joel Rigby (Krisztina) of Washington, DC and Sherie Amaya (David) of San Antonio, TX; his adoptive daughter Michelle Thomason; his grandchildren, David Hart of San Antonio, TX, Christopher Rigby of Berlin, Noah Atkins of California, Israel Atkins of California, Daniel Rigby of Frankfurt, Kali Bridwell (Dakota) of Missouri and Trenton Carter of Valdosta, Georgia; and his brothers, Ralph Rigby (Margaret) of Valdosta and Robert Rigby (Helga) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
