It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Pierce Murray of Lakeland, Georgia, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. M. Pierce and Maggie Bass Pierce; her husband Bob Murray; and her siblings, Jean Permenter, Virginia Ganas, Brenda Ray (Howard) and Roy Pierce (Liz).
She is survived by: her children, Kellie, John Tipler of Naples, FL, Kristie and Scott; her grandchildren, Chase Thomas Wright of Naples, FL, Luke Barfield Childers, Marine Corps and Jack Sherod Childers; her sisters, Sharon Ramsey (Freddy) and Sandra (Larry Luke); and her brother-in-law Winston Ganas of Lakeland, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Way Baptist Church (4340 Lakeland Hwy, Naylor, GA 31641).
