It is with sadness that the passing of Cathy Marie Hall Owings of Lakeland, Georgia is shared. Cathy, born on December 17, 1958, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Dean and Marie Carlton Dean; her former husband Jimmy Hall; her siblings, Shell Dean, Ray Dean, Mildred Dean, Shirley Hawkins, Linda Sirmans and Carroll Dean; and her son-in-law Chris Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Arron Owings; her children, Carroll (Amanda), Victor (Dondi), Ray, Cathy (Brian), Kimberly, Shirley (Daniel), Kelly (Reghan), Jody (Joy) and Jonah (Krissi); and her sister Iris Joiner. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 14 N Murray St, Lakeland, GA 31635. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (16 Pleasant Hill Church Rd, Moultrie, GA 31788).
