With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Chesemore of Lakeland, Georgia, whose life came to an end on June 25, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chesemore and Bessie Chesemore Schwebke; his sister Christina Morris; his stepson Ronnie Fender; and his stepgrandson Josh Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Vita Fender; his stepdaughter Elaine Sherrod (Georgia); his stepdaughter-in-law Gwen Fender of Naylor, Georgia; and his sisters, Joyce Terpstra of Belvedere, Illinois and Karen Ford of South Dakota. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Lakeland (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Legion Post 336, Lakeland, Georgia or Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Dr, Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
