He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Buck, Nell Chason, James and Mildred Royals; his uncles, J. C. Browning and Lee Kirbo; and his stepmother Betty Royals.
He is survived by: his parents, James Donald Royals, Jr. of Nashville, Georgia and Wanda Elaine Royals (Chason) of Lakeland, Georgia; his daughter Trista Moore of Valdosta, Georgia; and his siblings, Tina Royals Steed of Lakeland and Chris Royals (Becky) of Lake Park, Georgia. He is also survived by 3 aunts; 1 uncle; numerous special nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (16 S College St, Lakeland, GA 31635).
