It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Seagraves of Lavonia, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Douglas Newberry and Hazel Virginia York Newberry; and her sister Ann Gwin. She is survived by : her husband Keith Seagraves of Lavonia Georgia; her children, Mark Eskew (Wendy) of Ballground Georgia, Mary Jane "MJ" Atsalis, Bruce Manno and Jeff Eskew (Ellie) of Sharpsburg; her siblings, Jim Newberry (Karen), Harvey Newberry (Connie) and Sue Bacchus; and her grandchildren, Harrison Eskew, Megan Nicholson, Abbey Werner, Claire Eskew, Jack Eskew, Grace Eskew and Chelsea Owens. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
