She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Hughes Wright and Eunice Lucille Burton Wright; her siblings, Ronald Wright and Eleanor Ann Wright; and her stepchildren, Kathy McGehee and Mike Piroska.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Piroska Jr.; her daughters, Sabrina Lyn Groshek (Roy) and Shana Lea Tierney (Tim); her grandchildren, Evan Thomas Oswald, Anna Kaitlyn Oswald, Matthew James Tierney, Adam Thomas Tierney, Ryan McGehee, Raechel McGehee and Cameron McGehee; her great grandchild Ophelia McGehee; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Lavonia City Burgess Cemetery (184 Arlington Dr, Lavonia, GA 30553).
