He was predeceased by: his parents, Juel Cochran and Ruth Hawks Cochran; his brother Winfred "Wimp" Cochran; and his close friend W. M. Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Louise Gailey Cochran; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Darlene Cochran; his grandchildren, Justin, Bailey Cochran, Christy and Michael Grizzle; his great grandchildren, Mason Grizzle, Clayton Grizzle, Callie Grizzle, Anniston Cochran and Lennon Cochran; his sister Mervene Allen; and his nephew Todd Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Fred's memory to the Lavonia First Baptist Church, Beyond Fund, P.O. Box 47, Lavonia, GA 30553.
