She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Burgess and Myrtie Hunnicutt Burgess; her daughter Jackie Smith; and her siblings, Tommy Burgess, Vernelle Burgess and Peggy Ramsey.
She is survived by: her husband Loren Earl Smith; her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Mary Smith; her grandchildren, Christian, Joshua, Ashlynn Smith and Christine Adams; and her brother Truman Burgess. She is also survived by niece and several nephews.
