With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerel R Medlin of Lavonia, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Medlin and Mary Schenck Medlin; and his brother Thomas S. Medlin. He is survived by: his children, Thomas M. Medlin of Hartwell, GA, Jeffery Medlin (Elisabeth) of Summerville, SC and Katherine Shaw (Justin) of Canon, GA; his grandchildren, Mason Medlin (Kalie) of Royston, GA and Emilee Shaw of Canon, GA; his great grandchildren, Rilynn, Brooklyn and Ryder Medlin; and his sisters, Patsy Little of Concord, NC and Doris Kiker of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by four nephews.
