Larry Philpot Obituary

We announce the death of Larry Philpot of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 78. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley Philpot and Lucy Mae Crank Philpot; his wife Sharon Jean Deaver Philpot; and his brothers, David Philpot and Rick Philpot.

He is survived by: his son C. J. Philpot; his siblings, Robert Philpot, Teresa Philpot, Diane Ward, Barbara Ebbers and Linda Ferrell; and his grandchildren, Tayllor Philpot, McKinze Philpot and Herschal Philpot.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to defray funeral expenses.
