She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Lee Echols and Irene Lucy Blackmon Echols; her husband Ernest Prince; and her sons, Mike Prince and Jerry Prince.
She is survived by: her son Dan; her daughter-in-law Diane Prince; her daughter Lisa; her children-in-law, Ray Dowell and Cindy Prince; her sister Sybil; her brother-in-law Roger Bell; her grandchildren, Jason Prince (Melissa), LeAnn Prince, Daniel Prince (Chasity), Dawson Prince (Kaitlin), Jeremy Prince (Heather), Jennifer Johnson (Bobby), Matthew Dowell and Jacob Dowell (Joni); and her close friend Mildred Roling. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Lavonia (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Franklin Memorial Gardens - North (9589 GA-59, Lavonia, GA 30553).
