He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Garfield Vickery and Sara Louise Vickery; and his siblings, Betty Jordan, Jack and Jerry Vickery.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vickery; his children, Shannon Vickery (Kim) of Elberton, Greg Vickery (Mary) of Lavonia and Pam Vickery of Four Oaks, NC; his grandsons, Alex Vickery (Angela), Andrew Vickery (Meredith) and John Michael Vickery; and his great grandchildren, Lila and Sawyer Vickery.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Phil's memory.
