With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Joel Chapman of Lawrenceville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Abercrombie and Charles Chapman; and his brothers, Charles Chapman (Chuck), Jimmy Chapman and David Jack Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chapman; his daughter Amanda Smithey; his siblings, Jackie Mashburn and Billy Abercrombie; his sister-in-law Athena Chapman; his son-in-law David Smithey; and his grandsons, Brent Smithey, Justin Smithey and Elijah Smithey.
