He is survived by: his wife Jayne; his children, Thomas Bane, Kathryn Bane Pierce (Drew) and Benjamin Bane (Jan); his grandchildren, Jayne (Henry Pierce), Elliot Bane and Caroline Bane; his sisters, Emily Moon and Ann Harris; his nephew Jon Moon (Adriana); his nieces, Beth Moon-Burgess (Abe) and Amanda Hill (Erik); and his great-nieces, Cecilia Moon, Emma Hill and Eila Moon-Burgess.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
