It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward William Malone of Lawrenceville, Georgia, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson Malone and Ileta Turpin Malone; and his brother Ronald Malone. He is survived by: his wife Linda Malone; his children, Gregory Malone (Ana) and Heather Mumm; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Dominic, Marcelo Malone, Landon, Kyran (Josie), Zade, Riya, Tayla and Calista Mumm; his great grandchild Juniper Mumm; and his sister Katherine Binder (Alan). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in memory of Edward's life of faith and compassion.
