It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Darsey Schandel of Lawrenceville, Georgia, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Leslie Darsey and Josephine W. Darsey; her husband David E. Schandel; her siblings, Donald W. Darsey and Mary L. Smith; her nephew Robert; and her niece Cheryl Darsey.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Schandel (Traci) of Bowling Green and Jeff Schandel (Christine) of Jefferson, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Matthias Schandel of Lexington, Caitlin Schandel of Lexington and Anthony Schandel of Franklin; her nephew Kevin Stewart (Tonia); her great-nephew Robert; her niece Mary McCall (Ken); and her great-nephews, Neil and William.
