He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dolores; his children, Amy and Mark; his parents, Iven and Mary; his siblings, Adriene and Iven; his sons, George and Steven Hamby (Paulette) of Lawrenceville, GA; his brother John Hamby (Mary) of Ft. Worth, TX; his grandsons, Bryan Anderson (Chi) of Newnan, GA and Shane Harris (Vicki) of Thomasville, GA; and his great grandchildren, Lexie, Dalton, Brody Anderson, Noah, Seth, Eli Kipper and Elizabeth Harris. He was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville (120 Scenic Hwy S, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
